Your driving instructor will advise you as to when you are ready to take your driving test. There are no set number of lessons. It all depends on the individual. However the DSA quote that the average time taken to pass a driving test is 45hrs with an instructor plus some private practice. So don’t try to run before you can walk. Driving in Wokingham can be as hard as driving anywhere else. Remember you are learning a skill that will hopefully stand you in good stead for the rest of your life.

I am a fully qualified driving instructor based in Twyford, Berkshire. I have been a driving instructor for over eight years and started my own independent driving school over 5 years ago offering a variety of types of lessons including Beginner, Refresher, Intensive, Motorway and Pass-Plus courses. Previously I worked with BSM and the army teaching intensive courses to new recruits before they went on to learn their chosen trade.
